Before you visit…
Both outside tables and inside tables are available to be reserved but please be aware that if you book outside there is limited cover so feel free to dress appropriately, with our great British weather in mind! For outside bookings please also keep in mind that if there is bad weather, we unfortunately won’t have space to move your party indoors. Tables can be booked for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. We are more than happy to take requests for specific tables but please be aware that they can’t be guaranteed. Bookings for lunch and dinner are allocated a table for 2 hours and 2.5 hours for tables with five guests or more. Breakfast bookings are allocated 1 hour. If you would like to have your table for longer, please do ask us with as much notice as possible and we will try our best to accommodate.
Cancellations and no-show charges
We ask for card details for all bookings but please be assured, no payment will be taken immediately. In line with the government’s guidance, we’ve had to reconsider everything we do with a renewed focus on everyone’s safety. We are taking care of our guests, our team and our Cornish community, and we trust our guests to do the same when they come and visit us. With this in mind, we ask that before you arrive, you review the latest government advice regarding travel https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus and contact us on 01637 860372 should you need to change or cancel your booking. This will ensure that you are not left with an unwelcome charge of £25pp if you are unable to make it. This charge applies to no-shows and late cancellations so to avoid it please let us know with 24hrs notice.
We love welcoming children at Catch, and we have a separate children’s menu. Please include children in your party number (including young children in highchairs) so we make sure to get you a big enough table.
We also love welcoming dogs! Please let us know if you are going to bring your furry friends so we make sure to give you enough space.
We are able to cater for most dietary requirements and there are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options on the menu. Please let us know in advance and inform a member of our team on arrival of any dietary requirements or food allergies which we will try our best to accommodate.
There is plenty of parking in Mawgan Porth, the closest is the car park around the back of the restaurant. This car park is privately owned, and fees will vary based on time of day and time of year.
Covid-19 safety information
For the safety of all of our guests and our team, please may we ask you to be mindful of social distancing at all times. We have positioned several hand sanitisers in and around the restaurant – please use them. Please try to remain seated as much as possible to allow the walkways to remain clear and it is very important that any children also remain seated. Face coverings must be worn whenever you are not seated at a table and please remember to bring these with you.
Due to government guidelines we are unable to accommodate any parties larger than 6 indoors unless all members of the party are from a maximum of two households. This also applies when booking more than one table. You may be required to show proof of address upon arrival, so please bring this with you.
NHS Test and Trace
Upon arrival you will be required to provide contact details which if necessary, we will share with NHS Test and Trace.
